Title I - Hillcrest Parent Engagement Information

The purpose of parental involvement under Title I is to promote active engagement among local school officials and staff, education leaders, technical assistance providers, parents, parent advocacy organizations, parental involvement coordinators/ liaisons, and others working to improve student achievement and learning.
The goal of the Parent Engagement Program is to increase student achievement by engaging and empowering parents, as well as other stakeholders, to become actively involved in their children’s education across all grade level.
Parent Resource Center:
A Parent Resource Center is available to all parents. Parenting materials and educational enrichment materials are available, free of charge. Copies of the Parent Involvement Plan, School Improvement Plan, CLIP, & School-Parent-Student Compact are available for you to review and provide input and comments for revision.
The Parent Resource Center is open from 7:30 AM -- 3:15 daily. Arrangements for after-hours visits can be made by contacting Pam Jones at 353-8206 or email@example.com.
Hillcrest Elementary is not presently identified as a Priority, Focus, Alert, or Reward school.
